Welcome

Welcome to the Oregon Executive Development Institute (OEDI) website. OEDI is primarily a training organization providing executive leadership and management training to public safety professionals. We hope this website will provide our guests and members with valuable information regarding our organization.

In 2023, OEDI is projected to train over 500 managers and executives totaling over 7,200 training hours. We expect to exceed these numbers in the future, offering additional courses, both online and traditional, to members and non-members. For more information, click on Annual Session or Advanced Training.

On behalf of the OEDI Board of Directors and our members, I want to thank you for visiting our website. Please take the time to browse and see everything OEDI has to offer. We welcome your comments, and invite your suggestions for improvement.

“Over 80 percent of people in the United States own and use smartphones as their primary means of communication,” OCV Vice President Kevin Cummings said. “Mobile apps offer agencies a better way to alert, inform and prepare the public. Apps allow public safety agencies the ability to reach and serve their citizens where they are: their smartphones.”
