The Cybersecurity Leadership Academy is an online 10-week collaborative readiness program led by Fortune 500 CISOs and peers who deliver a proven framework and insights on leading and securing a network and an organization – protecting people, data assets, and the organizational brand. This program coaches’ participants on thinking and acting as cybersecurity leaders.

With a relevant and timely curriculum developed by the GovExec Professional Development Academy and in partnership with the Oregon Executive Development Institute, a CISO Coalition National Leadership Board Members, faculty from prominent universities, and industry thought leaders, the Cybersecurity Academy is focused on addressing five critical capabilities of cybersecurity leaders and their teams:

  1. Leading and making decisions
  2. Planning and managing change
  3. Building strong relationships
  4. Simplifying complexity by presenting information clearly and for action
  5. Executing to achieve security, safety, and value

Who Should Participate: The Cybersecurity Leadership Academy is designed for cybersecurity managers and their teams – anyone responsible for defending against cyber threats and responding to and recovering from cyberattacks.

What is the Time Commitment: The Cybersecurity Leadership Academy consists of 10 one-week modules with a time commitment of 30-60 minutes per day. Module units are designed to be non-disruptive to busy schedules and can be completed on the participants’ schedule and accessed online anywhere.

What is the Cost: Retail cost of the Cybersecurity Leadership Academy is $3,000 per person. Enrollment through OEDI is $500 per person.
